I'm running the latest version 1.1.2 rc2 129921

I get to the main screen okay. Creating a new game is okay, IMP is okay, but once that's done it goes into a black screen with some tip of the day at the bottom left and "loading..." at the bottom right. It never goes past this. When i hover the mouse around, i can hear the "clicks" when it hovers over buttons but i don't see anything.

Same thing goes for clicking on tutorial from the main screen.

Just downloaded the game zip from humble bundle, extracted and ran, never got to play it before. Gotta say, so far, it sucks.

When game gets stuck at loading screen that's usually a missing comma or something in a JSON file. I'll download the Humble Bundle myself one of these days and do a compare with Steam files. WIll get back to you on this.

I located the bugged files, but the fix isn't as easy as I expected. There seems to be a bugged asset file in /game_data in the Humble Bundle version. Can't tell which, because they're also interdependant. I assume one of the last 3 files (sharedassets0, 1 or 2)

I managed to get the game to start by replacing all asset files from HB bundle with those from Steam. You can either this the same or wait for an official fix. Here's an archive with those files:

Unzip these to desktop then use the contents the to replace the highlighted files in /game_data folder:

PS: Do not spread this "fix" around yet, I am not sure if devs are happy with assets files being shared.

this is a very bad joke, right? i mean 1.5gb download and the friggin game won't even get past the first loading screen without jumping through hoops?

WHAT THE HELL dudes. porting a unity3d game to linux is a friggin one button action. you could have at least TRIED IT ONCE.

the game's "awesome!" graphics option is a JOKE, if the character creation is ANYTHING to go by. you do not deserve the kickstarter money and i sure as hell will tell everyone about this failure so that you won't be backed again by me or my peers. EVER.
