1.0.6 is up on the new public test branch

1.0.6 is now live on the new public test branch. This means that you can all get to test and play it now through Steam. If no major issues are reported it's then made live for all to enjoy. 

To get access to the public testing branch, you need to do the following:

In your Library, right click on Jagged Alliance: Flashback and select Properties
Under the beta tab, select the "public_test" branch. It is not password protected.

Beware, that we do not guarantee for save game corruption, inquisitors or the occasional waaaaagh to happen. Backup your save game folder please, and this is on your own risk!

  • Added shop interface to merchant NPCs

 

Bugfixes

  • Fixed TeamPlayer perk

  • Fixed various issues with stealth.

  • Fixed a bug with memorized enemy indicator

  • Fixed a bug with some VO not always working correctly for mercs

  • Fixed the multiple movement bugs, where units keep running sometimes

  • Fixed bug where AI could fire from the prone stance without LoS

  • Fixed the error of shooting through obstacles in multiple shot raycast

  • Fixed AI search behaviour bugs that led to lags and crashes

  • Changed AI search behaviour to not move so often when they don’t spot enemy

  • Fixed the container to be able to use from the self-tile.

  • Fixed the camera events bug

  • Various sound additions and updates (unload weapon, reload weapon variations, interrupt toggle and trigger, end turn)

  • Fixed blocking issue in H5, in trunk has to be merged in release

I think a real feature for a DLC (-kickstarter) would be height levels...i would ship in for that, and i guess many more. The game becomes more and more a real JA. In the future, after a few patches this will be the only thing that´s really left outstanding and money-expensive to implement.

Wait with the DLC, the game is still kinda broken. I keep having crashes. I just got into the game, but It's very annoying when the game crash every 40 mins or so. I just had the first attack on the city, I was doing well, almost shot them all, then suddenly crash. I lost all the progress I made.

The game is on the right track, but needs tons of more fixing and updating.

i haven't played 4 some time but I indeed saw lots of ppl complaining on steam... Hope they'll get to the bottom of this soon..

Hooray, no lockup on AI turn...  Fonaly I can continue my save game that  always crash at Krosandar....

The shop needs some tweaking, like selling the unloaded guns from squad loot...

Selling unloaded weapons in the shop from the squad inventory was no problem at my game....and yes, i had no lockups,too.

Also we should tranfer this discussion to the new "v.1.06 bugs and feedback" post...

I don't know what's wrong with me but I haven't been so much grab by a game in a close obsessive way since a very long time. :-)

Just wanted say, I have multiple small problems on Mac like for the drag&drop of items, obscure problems during enemy turn (but I found ways to avoid them), sometimes left click on in game character to select him (not portrait) doesn't work when a specific character is already selected (have use right click two times when it happens and it's sticky during all the combat but it's not systematic), and some more.

But dam that game blast my mind and my life and I have to struggle to not have effects on my job. Ha ha. :-)

EDIT: Ha ha lost my initial topic, so the game blast so much my mind that despite all the minor problems I won't take the risk change the version to try this new 1.0.6. :-)
