I mentioned this issue in an another thread, but I'm puzzled why 4 patches after (1.04) the possibility to retreat from enemy occupied sectors isn't still implemented?
This is IMO completly breaks JA:Flashback gameplay and do you realize that this is the only JA game that doesn't allow the player to retreat from a sector still occupied by the enemy? I'm puzzled by this! Without this ability this game is IMO, unplayable.
Finally, I want to ask the devs if this feature (ability to retreat from enemy sectors) is planned to be implemented in JA:Flashback and if yes, when?

Retreat is available when you attack a sector, but not when you get attacked. I've reported this since beta, but got no fix or answer. Tactical retreat should always be an option.

Yes, I was mentioning Retreat when you're actually in the sector (fighting or near the enemy in the 3D world) or as you say "Tactical retreat" and not when you're about the enter the sector (in the Strategic map).
And yes, you're right that Tactical retreat should always be an option, imagine for example that your mercs run out of ammo or most if not all your mercs get so injured that all or most have very low HP (Hit Points), what will we do? Wait until our mercs get killed? Reload a previously saved game? With all due respect this is ridiculous! It's "impressive" (on the negative side of course) that devs continue to overlook such an VITAL feature of ANY JA game! IMO it seems that these devs don't know what a JA game is or never actually played one (or played one "seriously").
Tactical retreat is IMO so important that if I has to choose between Tactical retreat (while in the 3D map fighting against or near the enemies) or between the Retreat on Strategic Map, I would choose without any doubts the first one!

I think they thought that retreat is nothing people need so we cut it until patch 3. Also technical hurdles have to overcome as each map needs this zone in all direction like JA2. Hope they will fix this sooner than later. Adding more content, weapons is easier but right now nothing that people scream for.

The most annoying thing for me right now is the automatic time start in the strategic map.
Its impossible to coordinate actions right now.
Automatic time start is clearly a bug not a feature. Dont know if anybody thinks different.
And probably an easy fix.

I agree! It is also very easy to give a wrong command that way by misclicking etc.
